Cooperation between National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" and İTÜNOVA.

NTU "KhPI"

At the present time NTU “KPI” continues to work towards the strengthening and developing of the relations with 168 foreign partners from 38 countries of the world.
In the academic year of 2016 -2017 NTU “KhPI” participated in the realization of 37 international projects, including European Tempus Program Projects (3 projects), Erasmus –K2 (2 projects), Erasmus –K1 (14 projects on mobility), the 7th Framework Program, DAAD programs, Humboldt Foundation projects, and scientific-&-engineering projects as part of intergovernmental agreements.
NTU “KhPI” efficiently supports and promotes already available programs on exchange of students, post-graduate students, teaching staff and scientific workers, the “dual diploma” programs, international academic exchange programs, grants and scholarships, training on contractual basis at the Partner Universities of NTU “KhPI”, international projects, summer schools and language courses and different international events (conferences, forums, workshops, etc.).

Istanbul Technical University

ITU is a research centre connecting the past to the present and designing projects for the future. ITU, that has presented numerous scientific and technological developments, was the first to introduce novelties and unique achievements, provides academic learning being one of the oldest and most prominent technical universities in the world.

ITU offers 39 graduate programs at 13 faculties, 39 postgraduate and doctoral programs at 6 institutes on five different campuses, all of them located in the heart of Istanbul.

ITU has 360 laboratories and 13 research centers. With 23 engineering programs accredited by ABET Accreditation, ITU is the world’s leader among universities.

ITU ARI Teknokent is the center of technology, innovation, R&D and entrepreneurship.
ITU ARI Teknokent has been founded on an area of 1,655,000 m2 with 10 buildings, enabling over 2500 successful R&D projects (148 of which patented).
Today at ITU ARI Teknokent, 252 R&D companies with over 6500 personnel develop more than 600 projects annually.

ITU Tech park

ITU ARI Teknokent aims to:

• be a hub for R&D and innovation activities in Turkey, particularly Istanbul, and
• support, improve and steer the synergy arising from ITU’s academic knowledge and R&D companies.

ITU Seed was chosen Europe’s 8th and the world’s 18th best incubation center by UBI Global, an international index comparing and ranking the incubation.

Scholarship

İTÜNOVA provides scholarships for Turkish students who will perform Master's and Doctoral programs at NTU "KHPI".
